This hand cut, hearty pasta is a fan favorite, and for good reason! The name pappardelle comes from the Latin verb ‘pappare’, which is literally 'to eat'. This word is still in use in the Tuscan dialect to indicate 'an almost childlike pleasure of consuming food with curiosity and ample satisfaction.'
Best served with rich sauces such as our Ragù alla Bolognese.
Recommended serving size: 100 grams per adult, 60 grams per child.

Cooking tips
Cook fresh pappardelle in a large pot of boiling salted water. (Use about 6 quarts of water for 400 grams of pasta.) Occhio! Fresh pasta takes much less time to cook than dried pasta. Your pappardelle will be ready in about 2-4 minutes, depending on how much you cook.
